Prudence was lonely that day. All her classes had finished and she had finished her school work. She was tired for some reason and for the first time in a while lonely. Usually she wasn't lonley and was ok just to wander off by herself, but today seemed to be a different story.
She wore dark colours today, colours reflecting on her emotions. Her world was dark today and that's why she was in the dungeons. It was kind of cold even in her black sweater and jeans, but she didn't mind. She sat on the cold floor and toyed with her long black hair that was, as usual, down today.

Severus was hiding, from Potter and his goons of course. He was walking through the dungeouns and he sighed some. He always had to hide from them, every single bloody day.
He smoothed off his robes and sighed some. He looked ahead and saw a person. He walked closer and saw that it was a girl. Severus walked closer.
"Are you all right?"

Prudence, who's head was resting on her knees, which were hugged to her chest, looked up at the voice. She didn't recognize the boy and had no idea who he was but she responded anyways.
"um" she didn't know how to answer but it came out some what like this "yeah. Sure. Fine. What about yourself? I mean, you seem to be sneeking around kind of cautiously."

Severus shrugged and looked around. "I am here because I am. I just wanted to make sure you were all right. And now that I know you are, I can be on my merry way." He said with a nod of his head. He started walking and stopped. "I am Severus Snape by the way."

Prudence raised an eyebrow. Checking if she was alright. That was...odd. She chewed her lip and thought about this a moment before they boy introduced himself as Severus Snape. It clicked in her head that she should probably answer as well.
"I'm Prudence...uh Lennon" she always tried to match the way others introduced themselves. It was a whole formality thing.

Severus stopped and bit his bottom lip. He looked around and back at her. "Mind if I join you? I am kinda hiding." He said softly. He was a little ashamed that he was but he couldn't go back up there. Potter was waiting for him.

"Maybe you should ask him about it. You never know what's going on behind the scenes" suggested Prudence. She highly doubted Severus would take this advice, as she learned from other boys at the orphanage that only sappy girls express their feelings to others, which to her was totally stupid.
